Positioned.

Enterprise AI and product marketing strategy. The honest version of how it actually works. Every two weeks, on Substack.

What it is

Positioned is where I write the things I cannot put in a deck. The argument I made in the room that did not land. The framework I built after the third time a launch failed the same way. The pattern I keep seeing across enterprise AI that no one is naming yet.

I have been doing this work for twenty years across Microsoft, Salesforce, Tableau, and now UiPath. Positioned is the accumulated thinking. Not polished keynote content. The working version.

Each issue takes one idea from enterprise AI or product marketing and runs it until something useful comes out. Sometimes that is a framework. Sometimes it is a post-mortem on a launch I worked on. Sometimes it is just a thing I had to unlearn.

On Substack since 2023. Every two weeks, roughly. Free.

Who reads it

Product marketers at enterprise software companies. Founders who are trying to take something technical to market. Go-to-market leaders at AI companies who have figured out the technology and are now trying to figure out the buyer. People who work in enterprise AI and want the practitioner view, not the analyst view.

If you have ever sat in a room where someone said "we just need to tell the story better" and you knew the problem was not the story, this is probably for you.
